Miss Asian Fest - 15 to 18 years of age (birthday after June 1, 2019)

Winners to be announced at Asian Fest - May 25th, 2019 at Norfolk Waterside. All contestants will march in the Parade of Countries, leading their country of origin.

Contestant Requirements

$25 Registration Fee
Minimum of $40 for a quarter page add for program book and media

Competition

35% Onstage Interview - This will be conducted during the opening of the pageant after contestants are introduced. They will be asked questions off of a list provided by the pageant. The contestant will pick from a bowl filled with questions from the list and will be asked a total of two questions. Contestants will wear any traditional costume of their choice.
35% Talent - Talent can be any type of talent (Dance, musical, theatrical, and vocal). The talent performance must not be less than 2 minutes, 30 seconds and not to exceed 4 minutes. Failure to comply will result in deduction of 2 points. Music must be put on a thumb drive or emailed if using per-recorded music. If you are playing an instrument, please let us know so we will have the correct equipment for you.
30% Formal (National Filipino Costume) - Any floor-length style gown. Style will be permitted. Headpiece required for this portion. If you need helpo locating this style of gown, please contact pageant staff.
